London: London Eye

You may say London Eye is too theme-park like. But you should at least go up once to look back down on the city. It is a lovely view.

We arrived there in the evening. The line wasn't terribly long and moved quickly. It was about 30 to 40 minute wait. Once we got inside the capsule, it was like a nonstop photo op. It's very roomy inside with small capacity, you wouldn't have a problem to find a nice viewing spot.

These are the views from London Eye. On one side you see the House of Parliament and River Thames, on the other side is the Jubilee Garden.

If you are afraid of height, London Eye wouldn't be a problem for you because the ride is very smooth. It's very well designed and you won't feel anything shaky or bumpy. Each revolution takes half an hour. So if you suddenly have the urge to go to the restroom, you will have to hold your bladder until the 30 minute rotation is complete.
