London: St Paul's Cathedral

The line was quite short during our visit. Photography is not allowed. Once you cross the entrance line to buy the ticket, you really can't take pictures.

The architectural style is English Baroque. The church is white and airy inside. Princess Diana's wedding took place at St Paul's Cathedral.

There is a small chapel next to the lobby before you go into the 'no photos' area. I managed to snap some photos. The memorial, All Souls' Chapel, is fenced and situated on the ground floor of the north-west tower. It pays tribute to Field Marshall Lord Kitchener and all the servicemen who died in World War I.

In the pictures above, you can see an effigy of Lord Kitchener and one of the the sculptures of the military saints, St Michael and St George. There is also a pietà - a sculpture of the Virgin Mary holding the body of Jesus Christ - in the chapel.
