Tokyo, Day 2: Tokyo SkyTree

SkyTree is the tallest tower in the world, about 634m. It is hard to take a picture of the tower when you are in the area. You have to keep backing up until you can fit the whole thing in the frame.

When JJ went up the observation deck, he snapped this stunning view. You can see the river from here. It looks amazing. I can never get tired of the panoramic view of Tokyo.

The tower also holds restaurants and a market to keep visitors nourished. SkyTree was completed in 2012, so JJ was lucky he came to Tokyo at the right time. Had he visited Tokyo 3 years earlier, he would have missed Tokyo SkyTree.
