Tokyo, Day 5: Roppongi (六本木) and Going Home

JJ was going home on day 5. In the morning, he went to Roppongi to take pictures. That's JJ for you. He just can't relax. It is always a photo tour and he has to take pictures of everything as much as he can. He is a very dedicated travel photographer.

Roppongi is where foreign embassies are located and also a nightlife district. Nothing impresses foreign diplomats more than a giant spider. The giant spider creeps me out. Imagine if this thing comes to life, that will be another quirky Japanese movie like Gozilla. If you have a spider phobia and you have to pass a giant spider to go to work everyday, it really puts a dampener on your day. I am just saying.

JJ bid farewell to his friend who just got over JJ's no participation in parties. We are under the impression that saying no to parties is like social suicide in Japan, it deducts your coolness points. JJ and his friend used to party in Los Angeles when they were very young and restless. How fun to meet your friend again in another city.

From JJ's pictures, I can see Tokyo is a beautiful city with unique characters and very photogenic as well. Many thanks to JJ for providing these photos for the Tokyo series.
