Trip to Italy

“The man who seeks to educate himself must first read and then travel in order to correct what he has learned.”
Giacomo Casanova

JJ wanted to photograph Italy. Certainly, Italy was at the top of his bucket list. You heard so much about Italy. More than half of the artworks in the art history textbook are from Italy, so it has to be good.

Our trip to Italy kept delaying. We didn't go this spring. Summer was out of question because of the facts that there's a boatload of tourists during high season and summer Italy is excruciatingly hot. The delay gave us more time to do research and prepare for the trip. The trip was complicated because we had to visit 4 cities, Rome, Florence, Venice, Milan, plus a day trip to Pisa and Cinque Terre. We didn't know what to expect as I had not found any travel bloggers posting detailed travel within 4 cities in Italy like what I read about traveling within multiple cities in Spain online. No words on if the train tickets could be sold out easily or if the transportation was reliable. The thought that any glitch would happen made us nervous.

Following Casanova's spirit, we read all about traveling in Italy and then we embarked on our journey to correct what we had learned. Our misadventure began in late September 2015…
