After we left Roman Forum, we walked by Monumento Nazionale a Vittorio Emanuele Il and went inside from the back of the building.
We found this terrace cafe with glass walls tucked away on the rooftop. As it started to rain heavily, JJ proposed to have coffee here. This cafe was such a great place to unwind. Who wouldn't enjoy the view from the terrace? Rome in the rain…that's a beauty.
Later the monument and cafe were about to close. We left the cafe and passed through Vittorio Emanuele II to exit. More about this monument later…
