Rome, Day 2: Galleria Alberto Sordi

We passed by Galleria Alberto Sordi on Via del Corso. It is a shopping center in Rome. I believe the galleria is named after an actor. The building is in Art Nouveau style with stained-glass ceiling. Out of curiosity, I just had to make a short stop to take a look. The cafe in the middle of the walkway seemed like a nice place for people watching. I was meant to come back and have coffee but never got a chance to do so for the next few days.

In case you are wondering if Rome is a great city for shopping, Rome offers high-end products and low-end goods sold in the market, very few mid-range brands and selections. Buying everyday wear in Rome can be an unsatisfying experience. If you think you can just bring one shirt and buy some new outfits in Rome to wear for the rest of your stay, you may end up wearing the same outfit you brought everyday. I hope that helps.
